There are a lot of people out there taking pictures and it would be great if some of those pictures could be shared on the site. If you have pictures of the TTRA launches taken over the past year and would like to share them, just send and email to the Prefect and we can workout the best way to get the photos uploaded.

Videos are also welcome. I will be combing YouTube for TTRA videos that can be added to the site. Again if you have some video of TTRA launches send an email to the Prefect and we will work something out.

Starting the first of June only the new test will be available.  Practice questions for the new test are available at Tripoli.org.

The students were provided with printed copies of the Rocket Safety Rules, as well as information on how rocket engines work, and the stages of rocket flight. Several rockets and motors of various sizes were available for the students to examine, along with a short video presentation of varied rocket launches. The students were attentive, and very interested in the subject. The class intends to enter the Team America Rocketry Challenge next year.

The upcoming March launch is a two day launch. Spring is here and it time to dust the snow off of you rockets.  The launch is the  17th and 18th.  Sunday is a Research Day and the normal research restrictions apply.

There will be treasure chest load of of  fun, a rocket raffle and more to come.

Team America Rocketry Challenge http://www.ttra.ws/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=42:team-america-rocketry-challenge&catid=12:club-news http://www.ttra.ws/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=42:team-america-rocketry-challenge&catid=12:club-news A student team from Rockwall-Heath High School in Heath TX, bested 99 other teams from across the country to take firstplace in the ninth annnual Team America Rocketry Challenge (TARC) on May 14, 2011. The Rockwall-Heath team was one of more than 600 teams participating in this years contest. The final 100 teams went to the national fly-off in The Plains, VA.
